Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics

The Worcester Educational Development Foundation (WEDF) is proud to invest in STEM education for Worcester Public Schools (WPS) students, recognizing that skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics are critical for college, career, and life success.

Through grants, partnerships, and donor support, WEDF helps expand hands-on learning opportunities in STEM fields, from classroom technology and robotics to math enrichment and engineering design projects. These programs ignite curiosity, strengthen problem-solving skills, and connect students with real-world applications of what they learn.

WEDF’s support for STEM initiatives ensures that Worcester students—many of whom would not otherwise have access to advanced resources—can build the knowledge and confidence needed to thrive in a competitive, innovation-driven world. By investing in STEM education, equity, and access, WEDF is helping shape the next generation of thinkers, innovators, and leaders.
